bread. Sustainability Policy

At bread. we're passionate about creating beautiful and functional kitchens. But we're not just focused on making great products - we're also committed looking after our planet.

Here's how we're doing it:

  1. Material sourcing: We source our materials as local as possible. Sourcing our materials from sustainable and responsibly managed sources. We prioritise materials with third-party certifications such as FSC, or PEFC, which ensure that the materials are responsibly harvested and managed.

  2. Waste reduction: We strive to minimise waste in our production processes and recycle or repurpose materials wherever possible. We work to reduce the amount of waste generated during the manufacture of your cabinetry and minimise our use of non-recyclable materials. We use the latest CNC nesting technology to make sure sheet material is cut as efficiently as possible.

  3. Energy efficiency: We prioritise energy-efficient manufacturing processes and use renewable energy sources where feasible. We work to minimise our energy consumption and reduce our carbon footprint.

  4. Product durability: We design our products to be durable, long-lasting, and easily repairable to minimise waste and ensure that they can be used for many years.

  5. Education: We believe in continuously learning and pushing the boundaries of what is currently possible. Through regular workshops and incremental improvements.

  6. Supplier engagement: We work closely with our suppliers to encourage sustainable practices in their operations and to promote the use of environmentally friendly materials.

By following this sustainability policy, we aim to minimise our impact on the environment and contribute to a sustainable future. We are committed to continuously improving our sustainability practices and welcome feedback from our customers and suppliers on how we can further enhance our sustainability efforts.
